Jiří Procházka is a Czech mixed martial artist and the current UFC Light Heavyweight Champion.
Jiri began his adventure with martial arts and training at a young age. After watching the Never Back Down movie, he began to train in martial arts, in particular Thai boxing. Even before high-school he was drawn to professional wrestling after a friend showed him videos of kickboxers and MMA stars. Prochazka made his professional debut in MMA in April 2012 at the Gladiator Fighting Championship, the largest competition in the Czech Republic at the time. An upward path followed, coming to dominate international competitions. After amassing a record of 14–2–1 in his first three years in the sport, Prochazka was the first Czech athlete to join the Rizin Fighting Federation in 2015. He signed a contract with UFC in January 2020, recently becoming the first Czech athlete to also be UFC world champion.
Jiri is known for his exploration and mastery of both physical and mental skills. He is a proponent of bushido principles, the moral values of their samurai, and the teachings and philosophy of Miyamoto Musashi. With a unique fighting style and a different mindset Jiri is a new breed of fighter.

UFC fighter Jiří Procházka has become the new ambassador of XTB

Jiří Procházka, one of the best MMA fighters today, has become the next global brand ambassador of XTB. The new campaign of a leading global investment broker will focus on building awareness of investments and support the growth of the client base.

The cooperation with Jiří Procházka fits into the long-term marketing strategy of XTB. For a long time, XTB has been partnering with leading figures in the sports environment, led by the world-famous football coach José Mourinho, who has become the main face of the brand’s global campaign. At the beginning of the year, XTB also launched cooperation with Joanna Jędrzejczyk, the Polish martial arts fighter and former UFC champion.

Jiří Procházka is one of the leading figures in martial arts. He was already famous in the professional Japanese organisation Rizin, where he lost only one of his twelve matches. With these results, he earned a contract in the most prestigious American organisation, the UFC, where he is now preparing for his top duel for the title of world champion in the semi-heavyweight. As a part of the main event of the UFC evening, he will face Brazilian matador Glover Teixeira in Singapore on June 11th.
